Express Orient is a fictional theme park, based on the destruction of secular Turkey. The project materialises parts of this ever-expanding land that has the appetite of a monster, thriving to conquer and to take over. Spicing itself with religious and nationalist rhetoric, the park infuses the orient ideals into obscure theme park entertainment.

These visual artefacts become part of an allegory that represent the corrupt ideologies associated with the current state of Turkey. The abandoned private land turns into an exclusive collection where the promised collective fun never arrives, and where the elements appear dysfunctional for society, while serving ideological propaganda of the political leaders.
